Have you ever had a situation when you really need to talk to someone and you leave a message, you send them an email, and/or you send them a letter and you still get no response? That person may be a high priority for you but evidently YOU ARE NOT A HIGH PRIORITY FOR THEM.
The person is not calling you back because in your voice mail or email that you sent them, you already told them why you need to talk to them. Now that they know why you need to speak to them about, they will call you when they are ready. Or if they believe that they don't have a need right now, they may never call you.
They don't NEED to call you. You're not a priority.
Here is how you create the need.
ONLY TO BE USED AS A LAST RESORT.
The next time you call and leave a message. State your name and phone number, say that it is very important that they talk to you .... AND HANG UP.
Example:
"Hi this is John Smith, my number is (xxx)xxx-xxxx, it is very important that you call me back. I need to speak to you about (CLICK!!!)
When that person gets your voicemail, they will think the call got disconnected. They will wonder what it is that is so important. The person is curious now.
You created a need. Be prepared. They're calling you back.
